Heiberg Consulting, Inc. is the leader in providing
student tracking software to federal grants and institutions of higher education across the country
as well as information technology services to small and medium-sized companies
across the Northern Front Range.
David Heiberg and Tony Golobic developed StudentAccess as
a student tracking solution for the educational community. As former employees
of the Student Support Services program at Colorado State University, they
understand the importance of a reliable, effective means of recording student
data. StudentAccess was developed to provide quick and easy access to
information as well as to automatically generate annual reports. Heiberg
Consulting, Inc. has been providing products and services to the educational and
TRiO communities since 1997.
David Heiberg, President
David co-founded HCI along with Vice President Tony
Golobic in 1996. Prior to HCI, David started his work in the educational field
working for Colorado State University assisting advising centers, counseling
centers, tutoring programs, international education and the Study Abroad
program. His work in the IT industry has also included a wide range of
organizations from large companies like HP, to small and midsized companies, and
non-profits needing specialized services. Serving the educational community has
always been a focus and a passion.
David received his B.S. in Business Administration and his
M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University in Fort
Collins. He is currently Chair of the Fort Collins
Telecommunications Board. He has been quoted in the Fort Collins Coloradoan,
Northern Colorado Business Report and Computer World magazine for his
experience as a young entrepreneur.
Tony Golobic, Vice President
Tony co-founded the company in 1996
with President David Heiberg and has served as Vice President since its
inception. Tony served as Research Assistant at Engineering Research Center as
well as Database/Computer Manager at the Academic Advancement Center at Colorado
State University prior to HCI. He also worked at the Engineering College at CSU
as Interim Director of the Engineering Network Services Department. He has
developed skills in the documentation and support of databases, and has
experience as a Computer Consultant, Operations Manager Assistant, and
Mechanical Engineer Associate at various companies.
Tony received his B.S. in
Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
