What is the StudentAccess Advantage?
People. There's a reason we've been serving the educational community
for over ten years. Quite simply - we enjoy it. Many people on our staff are
former staff members at TRIO programs and educational institutions who know what
it's like to make a difference in a student's life. Others on our staff include
those students. We know education helps people. We know people need the support
of others in order to be successful, and we're here to support you.
Technology. Our software is based on the most widely adopted
standards in the computer industry and the same standards used by the Department
of Education. This includes Microsoft Access, the most popular desktop database
in history. Microsoft Office, the standard in desktop productivity. Microsoft
SQL Server, the fastest growing standard in database technology. Microsoft IIS
Server, with the most advanced security response team and automatic updates
supporting the most secure web site deployments in the world.
Philosophy. There are three founding principles that HCI and StudentAccess
was founded on.
Provide Value to any effort we take part in. Many companies do not
understand how educational organizations live, work and survive by the
underlying principles that the students come first. We understand that, and
realize that all organizations must make the most of the resources available, a
critical trait to educational grants. Help People and contribute
back to the community. We're the first to offer Partnerships to GEAR UP grants
across the country, donating part of our software and services to those in need.
We also sponsor the SSS Student Recognition Programs at Colorado State
University, the first ever provided to TRIO students in our region.
Listening is critical not only to who we are, but to what we do. We
want to provide you with the very best products and services available; to make
your job as easy as possible. So we continually listen to our customers and
collect feedback about what they would find most helpful. We use this feedback
in our ongoing development efforts to improve our products and services; thereby
increasing the value we provide and bringing our philosophy full circle.
