The information tracked in StudentAccess is intended to serve two goals:

1.  To provide quick and easy access to information to improve services on a daily
     basis and

2.  Automatically generate annual reports and indicate missing information.

Based on these two goals, we have designed StudentAccess-McNair to be an easy-to-use, comprehensive database solution for student service-based organizations.  Information recorded and available include:

• Advising codes - multiple custom codes per appointment

• Appointment information - date, type, duration, reason and counselor

• Comments - record notes and interactions including date and counselor

• Referrals - to other offices

• Current Courses - name, number, section, instructor, term, credits & grades

• Student Information - general information such as local and permanent addresses, ethnicity, marital status, major and college, entrace date & GPA, GMAT & CRE scores, SAT & ACT scores and current student status.

• Year Information - financial aid need/offered and reason for acceptance or deference.

• Services - track multiple services received by student per term

• Tutoring Requests & Matches - course information, status, tutor, multiple note fields and dates.

• Tutoring Hours - hours and dates by student

• Tutor information - address, education, GPA, abilities, availability, etc.
