The information tracked in StudentAccess is intended to serve two goals:

1.  Provide quick and easy access to information to improve services on a daily
     basis and

2.  Automatically generate annual reports and indicate missing information.

Based on these two goals, we have designed StudentAccess-UB to be an easy-to-use, comprehensive database solution for student service based organizations.  Information recorded and available include the following:

• Advising codes - multiple custom codes per appointment

• Appointment information - date, type, duration, reason and counselor

• Comments - record notes and interactions including date and counselor

• Referrals - to other offices

• Current Courses - name, number, section, instructor, term, credits & grades

• Student Information - general information such as addresses, ethnicity, GPA, test scores, current status, etc.

• Services - track multiple services recevied by student per term

• Custom Fields - available for Permanent, Term & Year information.

• Tutoring Requests & Matches - course information, status, tutor, multiple note fields and dates.

• Tutoring Hours - hours and dates by student

• Tutor information - address, education, GPA, abilities, availability, etc.

Lookup Tables
Lookup tables provide default information and standardization making the generation of reports and data entry faster and easier.  The lookup tables are fully customizable and, where appropriate, already contain defaulst for the generation of annual performace reports.  Lookup tables include:
