StudentAccess Listserv

What is a listserv?
A listserv is an electronic discussion group designed to give those with common interests an easy way to communicate with each other. Members can send a message to the listserv email address and software then distributes that message to all members of the list.

The StudentAccess listserv provides you the opportunity to discuss StudentAccess with other programs that use the software, as well as with us. We currently offer three list options: a general StudentAccess listserv (STUDENTACCESS-LISTSERV), a Student Support Services listserv (SA-SSS) and an Upward Bound listserv (SA-UB). Joining is easy!

To Subscribe
First, determine which list or lists you would like to subscribe to. You may join more than one list, but you will need to send a request to each list individually.

To join, send an email to listserv@listserv.heiberg.com

In the body of the email, type:

SUBSCRIBE STUDENTACCESS-LISTSERV
SUBSCRIBE SA-SSS
or
SUBSCRIBE SA-UB

depending on which listserv you would like to join. Soon afterwards you will receive a confirmation email. After receiving the confirmation you should be able to send and receive listserv messages. If you have any difficulties signing up, send an email to us at studentaccess-listserv-request@listserv.heiberg.com

Send a Message
To send a message to everyone currently subscribed to the list, send an email to the appropriate address for the list you wish to reach:

studentaccess-listserv@listserv.heiberg.com for the general StudentAccess listserv

SA-SSS@listserv.heiberg.com for the Student Support Services listserv

SA-UB@listserv.heiberg.com for the Upward Bound listserv

We recommend placing the topic of the email in the subject line to make it easier for you and others to identify which messages are of particular interest.

*Please note: You must be a member of any list you wish to post to.

To Unsubscribe
You may leave a list at any time by placing SIGNOFF and the name of the list you wish to leave (either SA-SSS, SA-UB or STUDENTACCESS-LISTSERV) in the body of an email and sending it to listserv@listserv.heiberg.com.
